Impactrimony: information technologies applied to the valuation of the economic impact of culture

Abstract

An information service, Impactrimony , is proposed that evaluates the economic impact that a museum, library, festival or heritage element generates on the territory. Based on the information contained in the input-output tables and the data provided by the user through questionnaires, Impactrimony estimates the direct, indirect and induced effects to quantify the impact. The main elements that make up the architecture and interface of the system are described.
