Heritage policies in Spain

Abstract

In cultural policy, heritage is probably one of the oldest and most studied areas of intervention. Contemporary cultural policies have their origins in the first attempts to protect heritage during the Enlightenment. However, the reflections that have been developed around the modes of management of these assets are relatively recent and undoubtedly constitute a new field in the social sciences.
