Econcult 17/09/2021

The Horizon 2020 project Designscapes has reached its final phase. In the penultimate week of September, our research unit Econcult, together with other members of the Designscapes consortium, will organize two special sessions to communicate and share the results and implications of this four-year project. Both sessions will be live streamed on Facebook.

The first session will be held next Monday, September 20, from 10h00 to 12h30. It will focus on the launch of the White Paper on Design-Enabled Innovation in Urban Environments. As one of the main authors of the paper, Dr. Chuan Li will present nine strategic priorities and policy recommendations to foster design and innovation competence in Europe.

In addition, a round table discussion will be organized where representatives of different institutions in the field of design policy, such as WDO (the World Design Organization), BEDA (The Bureau of European Design Associations), WDC2022 (Valencia World Design Capital), will join to discuss the future of design policy. This roundtable will be moderated by Professor Nicola Morelli, the director of the Service Design Lab at Aalborg University.

Any people who are interested can access to the webinar through Designscapes page of Facebook.
